Some customers are never quite done. The order is rung up, the slip is ready — and then they remember one more item, or need to check with someone first. Until now you had two bad options: make everyone else wait, or clear the cart and type it all again later.

With Held Sales, you park the sale in one tap and keep the line moving. When the customer is ready, bring the sale back exactly as you left it, add what they forgot, and take payment.

What you get:

Hold from the order slip review — right under Confirm & Proceed to Payment, answer "Customer will add more items?" with Hold order slip, and add a short note like "will add more later"
Nothing sold twice — items in a held sale disappear from your POS list while they wait, so nobody else can sell them. Cancel the hold and they're back in stock instantly
Everything comes back — the customer's details, the discount you agreed, walk-in or online, and the units you typed on the slip are all restored when you resume
Add more, then hold again — resume the sale, add the extra items, and either take payment or tap Update held slip if they're still not done
Find any held sale fast — search by customer name, note, item, amount, or hold code, and see when each one was held
One row per product — ten of the same item show as one line with a quantity on the slip and in the cart, even after you add more to a held sale

How it works:

Build the cart as usual and tap Checkout. On the order slip review, tap Hold order slip, add a note, and save — your cart is cleared for the next customer. When the first customer is ready, open Held Sales at the top of the POS, find their sale, and tap Resume sale. Add anything new, then pay as normal. Changed plans? Open the held sale and tap Cancel hold to return every item to stock.

Held Sales is available for stores that print the A4/A5 order slip. A held sale is a preview, not a final document — the order slip is issued only when the sale is paid.
